Glazpart is delighted to announce five category nominations in this year’s National Fenestration Awards (NFAs). The nominations reflect Glazpart’s outstanding work in new product development, customer support, sales and marketing.

The NFA shortlist includes;

• Window Component of the Year: Multi-System Bridge Packer (MSBP)
• New Product of the Year: Bifold Vent
• Office Manager of the Year: Belinda White (Customer Relations Manager)
• Social Networker of the Year: James Lee (Marketing Consultant)
• Best Business Development Manager / Sales Executive of the Year: Melanie Hickman (Area Sales Manager – South of England)

On receiving the news, Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director, commented, “We are delighted to have been recognised in five categories at the NFAs for our work across the fenestration sector.”

On being shortlisted for Business Development Manager / Sales Executive of the Year, Melanie Hickman said, “ ‘I’m really shocked & honoured to be nominated for this award. I’ve only been with Glazpart and in the fenestration industry for 18 months, so just the nomination itself is an achievement. Really looking forward to celebrating this year and I wish everyone the best of luck.”

Glazpart’s Customer Relations Manager, Belinda White is responsible for keeping customer service standards high by making sure Glazpart’s products are not only delivered in time but arrive in first class condition. On her nomination for Office Manager of the Year, Belinda commented, “Being nominated is unexpected but it also nice to have our work recognised by our customers in the fenestration sector. I am very much looking forward to October’s event.”

James Lee, who is responsible for Glazpart’s PR and Social Media has been nominated for “Social Networker of the Year”. James commented on hearing the news, “I am both surprised and pleased to be nominated, but also delighted that Glazpart has been recognised in four other categories. The last 12 months has seen an amazing surge in our social media activity highlighting Glazpart’s success in events, new product development, awards and customer relations. I can’t wait for the Awards Event in Doncaster this Autumn.”

The National Fenestration Awards is the industry’s fastest growing and most inclusive awards event. Launched in 2013 and now into its 12th campaign, the National Fenestration Awards are decided completely by the participation of the industry. All in the industry are invited to vote on their choice of deserving winner.

Glazpart is pleased to announce that three leading trade bodies have joined Glazpartners.

The new Glazpartners are CAB (Council for Aluminium in Building), GTMA (Manufacturing Resource Centre) and GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation).

CAB is the leading trade body for fabricators, installers, and systems companies manufacturing companies operating in aluminium market for the construction sector. With over 140 members across the supply chain, CAB is the largest trade body representing aluminium in the construction sector.

GTMA is a UK-based trade association representing leading companies in precision engineering, rapid product development, toolmaking, tooling technologies, and other critical manufacturing-related products and services. Engaging with engineering associations, government bodies and organisations to access market information to provide their members with insights and market intelligence.

GGF is the main trade federation for the glass and industry, with the GGF community of members from across the supply chain make up over 60% of the sector’s £4 billion annual turnover. The GGF has represented the industry since 1977 and is recognised by government for its in-house technical expertise, market knowledge and influence across the industry.

Launched at FIT Show 2023,  Glazpartners is a unique and attractive initiative with 60 companies joining since May 2023 and all 60 being promoted at FIT Show 2025 . The initiative has enjoyed record PR coverage, numerous award nominations with ultimate recognition at The Installer Awards in March 2024, when Glazpartners won “Best Customer Support Programme”.

FIT Show 2025 in Birmingham, proved to be an exciting showcase event for Glazpart with new product launches, promotion of its expanding Glazpartners initiative and celebration of a special year as the company marks its 40th anniversary.

At the exhibition, Glazpart launched three new products including the MSBP (Multi-System Bridge Packer), the Bi-fold Vent and the Modular Vent.

MSBP (Multi-System Bridge Packer)

The MSBP is new bridge packer designed for multiple systems and profiles including:

Aluplast / Eurocell / Deceunick /  Kommerling / Liniar / REHAU / Veka and Veka Halo.

The MSBP will benefit fabricators working with several systems and its easy clip mechanism helps secure the packer into position and remain fixed without the need for silicone on for example mullions. The MSBP also ensures any water ingress into the glazing channel will run below the MSBP and out via the window or door drainage system. The MSBP prevents water from contact with the Insulating Glazing Unit (IGU) maintaining a distance between the water and IGU edges and makes for easier and cleaner installation.

The Bi-Fold Vent

Manufactured specifically for aluminium Bi-Fold doors this shallow height vent is designed to work within the low hinge stack heights as the doors are in the open position.

The product is designed to fit onto the door leaf profile above the IGU, which removes the need for expensive knock on profiles above the door frame and interference with the plaster line. Initially available in White, Black and Anthracite Grey in standard sets, bespoke and matching colours will also be manufactured.

With an equivalent area of 2700 EA, on a 16 mm rout with a standard 3 door Bi-Fold installation the cumulative equivalent area in the room is 8100EA and will meet the building regulation requirements.

Modular Vent

This new trickle ventilator is the best in the market for watertightness (at 1000 Pa). The Spring Clip fitting (No Screws) saves on installation time and the vent though one of the shortest width trickle vents available it achieves a 2000 EQA performance for each module fitted. Available in 100s of colour options, this vent is ideal for heritage style windows.

Aluminium Vent

In addition to Glazpart’s new products, visitors to their stand at FIT Show were also given a sneak preview of Glazpart’s Aluminium Vent manufactured specifically for aluminium window and door systems. The product is due to be launched later this year.

Glazpartners Promotion

The Glazpartners programme was launched two years ago and has expanded to 58 companies across the supply chain now subscribing to the award-winning initiative which, invites customers to collaborate on industry issues and product solutions and offers Glazpartners multiple brand promotional opportunities.

This year, Glazpart promoted all its Glazpartners at FIT Show with each Glazpartner’s brand logo featuring on HD Lightbox graphics around the Glazpart stand.

Glazpart is pleased to announce its latest investment in a new vehicle to improve its transportation to ensure consistent delivery of key components to outsource partners.

Darren Deeley, Glazpart Secondary Operations and Logistics Manager commented, “Investment in this new lorry plays an important role in supporting our supply chain and continues our on-time deliveries ensuring we meet our customer requirements.”

The new vehicle, an Iveco MY24 Daily curtain side, has been supplied by Norther Commercials, and is an investment in excess of £55k. With an 8 Speed Hi-Matic Gearbox and weighing 7.2t it has a payload of circa 3.6t. The vehicle can comfortably take 8 pallets on its floor space and also comes with the standard reverse camera and Iveco connected services activation.

From a branding perspective, the lorry displays the Glazpart logo and strapline across all three sides with the logo also appearing on both doors and on the bonnet. Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director added, “It’s always important to continue our investment in operations as we grow, This new vehicle will help our supply and assembly chains to ensure we meet our customers’ demands. It is also good to have such strong and effective branding on the vehicle. Every day and everywhere the lorry goes, the Glazpart brand and our descriptive strapline will be visible.”

Last year the company invested in more state-of-the-art machinery to ensure it maintained its high productivity levels. This latest investment is an addition to their existing fleet of vehicles and will ensure smooth transportation for its operations.

Darren Deeley summarised, “This latest investment is another clear sign that Glazpart is continuing to invest in the company to improve our services for our customers”.

Glazpart Sales Director Dean Bradley was both surprised and humbled to win the Outstanding Achievement Award at The GGP Installers Awards 2025.

Many renowned people and companies from the glazing supply chain attended the prestigious annual Installer Awards ceremony on 13^th March at Manchester’s Midland Hotel to celebrate excellence in glazing installation.

On winning the award for Outstanding Achievement, Dean commented, “I am truly humbled by winning this award. It has been a complete and pleasant surprise. I’m pleased that I and the Glazpart team has been recognised for our work on trickle vents and background ventilation in the building regulations over the last decade.”

The Outstanding Achievement Award sponsored by Building Our Skills, is recognition of an individual’s long term significant contribution to the installation industry and how it has shaped and changed the sector.

Under Dean Bradley’s sales, marketing and commercial leadership, Glazpart has developed the innovative Link Vent to ensure that it not only complied with the changes to Building Regulations in June 2022 but also became a simple and effective ventilation solution. The Link Vent, thanks to smart design is also easy to control and install as well as being homeowner friendly due to the vents blending with practically any window and door design and finish.

Amidst the delight and surprise at winning an award Dean Bradley also offered his thoughts on this year’s event, “It was great to be here and network with so many of the industry’s top professionals. My congratulations to all the winners. Once again, the event was superbly organised and held in a first class venue. A big thank you and well done to all in the GGP team and to all who attended, you made this year’s event a true highlight for our industry.”

Glazpart has welcomed more Glazpartners with a further 4 companies joining the initiative last month and with many more expected to join before the FIT Show at the end of April, Glazpart are confident there will be over 60 Glazpartners by June 2025.

Launched at FIT Show 2023,  Glazpartners is a unique initiative with over 50 companies joining since May 2023. The initiative has enjoyed record PR coverage, numerous award nominations winning The Installer Awards in March 2024, for “Best Customer Support Programme”.

Glazpart’s plans for FIT Show 2025 are well underway as the award-winning glazing components company gets ready for the biggest event of the year with some special features for their presence at the industry’s largest UK exhibition.

Glazpart is pleased to announce the company will launch several new products in its Glazing Accessories and Trickle Vent ranges at FIT Show (April 29-May 1) at Birmingham’s NEC.  The new products will feature at the show with special displays and promotional materials.

Also on Glazpart’s stand space (of over 100m² ), visitors can expect to see strong promotion of the award-winning Glazpartners programme which was launched at FIT Show in 2023 and now has over 50 companies signed up to the marketing partnership initiative. FIT Show itself is a Glazpartner and will be promoted from the Glazpart stand (No.J70, Hall 9).

On the forthcoming event, Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director commented, “In previous years, the FIT Show has proved to be the perfect platform to showcase our products and to network with so many in the industry. Glazpart is pleased to announce a partnership development with PiGs (People in Glazing Society) with Glazpart continuing sponsorship of PiGs events throughout 2025 while PiGs have officially become the latest company to join the Glazpartners initiative.

PiGs is the biggest and best networking programme of regular events in the glazing industry. Open to all companies and individuals working in the sector, the events are designed to nurture long term relationships for people in the industry.

Organised by Sarah Ball since 2014, PiGs networking holds regular events around the UK, and sometimes around the world. There have been three stateside PiGs events alongside Glass Build America. This year PiGs are also hosting a special event at FIT Show in Birmingham on 30 April.

On continuing sponsorship, Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director, commented, “We are delighted to continue to sponsor PiGs. It is not just a great social event but also  the ideal networking event to meet with people from across the industry.

It has been announced that Glazpart, the glazing industry’s leading component supplier, has been nominated in three categories for The Installer Awards 2025, with recognition for:

• The Link Vent 4000 for Best Technical Innovation
• The Glazpartners initiative for Best Installer Customer Support Programme
• Dean Bradley, Sales Director for Outstanding Achievement

The Installer Awards recognise the important contributions of the glazing industry’s installers and suppliers of installation products and services. The three nominations are welcome recognition for Glazpart’s significant progress in 2024 – a year that has seen record sales of Glazpart’s Link Vent product range and with 40 companies now signed up to the Glazpartners initiative.

On hearing the news Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director commented:

The Link Vent 4000 with its smart design and vast colour range has proved to be a valuable addition to Glazpart’s trickle vent range.
