The Glass and Glazing Federation hailed the UK Pavilion at Fensterbau Frontale (16-19 March) a great success after the GGF and five other British companies co-exhibited at the world’s largest international fenestration exhibition.

Following the show, James Lee, Head of GGF Group Marketing commented, “Fensterbau has seen a much stronger British presence than in previous years. Thanks to our five co-exhibitors, made up of high profile UK companies and GGF Members the whole event proved a great success.”

Matthew Glover, Chairman of The FIT Show who exhibited on the UK Pavilion added, “It was a very productive few days for the FIT Show and we’ll certainly be keen to take part again in 2018.”

The UK Pavilion consisted of six co-exhibitors including the GGF, The FIT Show, Glazpart, RITEC International, Clearview magazine and GQA Qualifications. Each company had their own individual exhibition stands within the UK Pavilion and use of a café/meeting area on the stand.

Following the show, Dean Bradley of Glazpart commented, “We met with potential clients from over 20 countries and we were pleased to launch some new products in frame corner protection at the show. We already potentially see a return on our investment and the UK Pavilion was ideal as it allowed the group of exhibitors to cost effectively work together, increasing our impact and presence at the show.”

The UK Pavilion also staged the British Reception sponsored by Wintech Testing and Certification. Gailord Nepp, Managing Director of Wintech commented, “We really enjoyed Fensterbau and the British Reception which was well attended. We were pleased to sponsor this special event on the UK Pavilion and increase our brand awareness at this international event.”

James Lee concluded, “I have been doing exhibitions for almost 25 years and this one is up there with the best of them. Our stand presence was strong, the visiting audience was large and relevant. Overall it was extremely smooth running and working with the other UK companies made everything much easier. The GGF and all the co-exhibitors will be holding a review meeting in a few weeks when we hope to start planning for Fensterbau 2018.”

Glazpart Packers for Professionals stockist GBP has moved it’s trade Counter to its new location on the Trent valley trading estate in Rugeley (WS15 2HQ).

Glazparts Dave Clark can be seen with Director Wendy Hill with the new trade counter display of the successful Packer for Professionals product line.

Dave was also one of the first to enjoy the sausage sandwiches available to all on this the first trading day.

The UK Pavilion at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2016, hosted by the GGF will show that “Britain Means Business” with some of the UK’s highest profile organisations co-exhibiting on a new and shared space at the world’s largest international trade fair for the window industry.

FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2016 takes place in Nuremberg on 16-19 March and reflects the worldwide innovations in windows, doors and facades. Every two years, architects, carpenters, window and facade manufacturers, and the specialist trade update on the latest profile systems, glass in architecture, fixing equipment, safety equipment, machines, installations and many more products.

The co-exhibitors on the UK Pavilion include;

The Glazpart glazing shovel is a definite ‘must have’ tool for any installer or trade person fitting glazed units. The key application for the product is for the professional installation of insulated glazing units, providing a sturdy lever to help insert glazing units in to their frame.

Manufactured from a heavy duty plastic compound, the glazing shovel gives users the ideal handle length to position the shovel comfortably into the corners of the window or door frame to lift and lever the glazed unit, making ‘toe and heeling’ effortless; the ridges on the plate of the shovel are designed to increase the grip on the glazed unit to prevent slipping.

Now available on the glazpart rectangular drain hole cover is the latest premium finish to add that final finishing touch to your linear foiled windows and profile.

Here, we show the drain hole covers finished on Irish Oak, Golden Oak and Mahogany foils. Most foils can be applied to match your window profile including solid colours.

If you need the embossed finish our process allows the wood grain emboss to be retained and enhance the finish of your products.

For solid colours you may also chose to have the cover moulded in one of the 27 colours all matched to your foil.

Glazpart adds two new colours to it’s market leading range of through moulded colour matched drain hole covers. These have been developed to match the range of colour foiled window profiles which are becoming ever more popular in the UK window market .

The newly introduced colours are;

Dark Green (to match Renolit foil – Dark Green, nearest RAL 6009)

Dark Red (to match Renolit foil – Dark Red, nearest RAL 3011)
