Glazpart are finalists in the Hardware company category of the National Fenestration Awards 2014

Glazpart are proud to be shortlisted in the National Fenestration Awards 2014 to be announced in December. This reflects the exhaustive work done by the team at Glazpart over recent years. This follows on from over £1,000,000 of investment in the business and the launch of many new products. These include the innovative trickle vent product range of Link-Vents to meet building regulations. Glazpart have also developed products for the trade counter market, providing installers with the products they want at the right price.

But what are the National Fenestration Awards? They are unique in that they are the first of their kind in the country that give people and companies from all areas of the fenestration industry their chance to have their say on who should be awarded for their skills and hard work.

No judging panels, no secret voting. The National Fenestration Awards is shaped and decided completely by the input from everyone in the industry. It doesn’t matter if you’re an MD, factory worker or anywhere in between. Anyone who is actively working Nominate in the fenestration industry can take part.

The aim is to recognise ALL parts of the fenestration industry, not just the parts that always seem to get the column inches. PVC, aluminium, timber and steel will all be recognised. A focus on the people of the industry will also be a theme throughout these awards. We want the NFA’s to truly represent the whole industry.

The Hardware Company 2014 category is for manufacturers of hardware specifically. Window hardware is an art form in the industry these days. It’s not just hinges and friction stays that make window systems work. There is a huge range of hardware that is complimentary to so many of the profile systems. Add to that increasingly popular colour finishes that turn a good installation into a classy one.

Hardware serves two functions in our industry right now; making windows and doors work efficiently and securely, and adding that final touch of elegance. Hardware component companies play such a large part in our industry, it is only right to recognise the sector.

The nomination of Glazpart reflects the category aims to consider the quality and spectrum of products available from Glazpart.
