Glazpart is pleased to announce that Keystone Market Research has joined the Glazpartners initiative.

With almost two decades of experience in the fenestration industry, Charlotte Hawkes formed Keystone Market Research in 2023 to fill the gap in the market for accurate market intelligence upon which companies can base strong business strategies.

Keystone offers bespoke research support for companies in the industry and produces a series of off-the-shelf studies, including an annual Fenestration Market Statistics and Forecast Report which has valuable market analysis and insights, including the overall size of the UK market, how it has changed in recent years and how this breaks down into different materials and product types.

Following a successful first “Talking Shop with Glazpartners” event in Birmingham in February, the next Talking Shop is in Belfast on the 23^rd of April in conjunction with PIGs (People in Glazing Society).

The next Talking Shop takes place at Whites Tavern (the same venue as PiGs) from 4pm when visitors can meet the experts – technical Glazpartners from across the supply chain including the Glazpart team, who will be more than happy to hear views on industry issues, share their knowledge and offer potential solutions. Experts from GGF, Soudal and Rapierstar have already been confirmed.

Talking Shop with Glazpartners offers companies the chance to discuss industry issues and air concerns with technical experts who can share ideas, information and solutions, all in an informal and relaxed setting.

Ahead of the next event, Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director commented; “We were delighted with the first Talking Shop in Birmingham last month The feedback received was very positive and it was great that so many technical experts attended from across the glass, glazing and fenestration supply chain. We are now looking forward to the next Talking Shop in Belfast where we will undoubtedly hear fresh perspectives on industry issues and with our technical experts, be ready to share our in depth knowledge.”

Glazpart is pleased to announce the appointment of Artin Hakimi as Senior Product Design Engineer.

Artin, a mechanical design engineer, has extensive experience in product development across safety equipment, fire detection systems, robotics, and consumer products.

Since graduating in Product Design Engineering from De Montfort University, Artin has enjoyed a successful career in product design, working with multi-disciplinary teams and international manufacturers to develop high-quality engineered products.

As well as mechanical design, Artin’s specialisms include injection moulding, design for manufacturability as well as delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions from conceptualization through to production.

On Artin’s appointment, Mark O’Mahoney, Glazpart Operations and Technical Director commented, “Artin joins Glazpart’s in house design team in a Senior Designer’s Role, bringing his knowledge and industry experience to ensure we continue to develop, and enhance our product design team’s capabilities for all our customers. Artin’s collaborative and progressive approach will align our business objectives in giving customers a one-stop-shop, from design, prototyping through to manufacture.”

On his new role, Artin added, “I’m delighted to be joining Glazpart and contributing to a company with a strong reputation for innovation in plastic injection moulding. I’m particularly excited with the opportunity to apply my experience in product development and design for manufacturability to support the creation of high-quality, efficient solutions for customers. Since the outset of the GGP Installer Awards in 2020, Glazpart has been a consistent advocate and supporter of this unique event which celebrates and promotes excellence in glazing installation.

Fay Bibi, Glazpart’s Custom and Speciality Products Manager has been a judge of the awards for the last three years, bringing in-depth knowledge from her vast experience of the UK fenestration sector to the judging panel to select the worthy winners.

On the 2026 awards, Fay commented “It was an absolute honour once again to be invited to judge the GGP Installer Awards and assess the best work in the glazing industry.  This year’s entries were interesting and it was great to see many companies submitting high quality entries supported by excellent case studies, that clearly shows evidence of their professional workmanship. I am looking forward to the awards gala event in Manchester on 19^th March. It promises to be another great and memorable occasion.”

Glazpart is once again looking forward to exhibiting at Furniture Component Expo on 11-12 March at Telford International Centre – the UK’s only dedicated event for components and services to the furniture industry.

Since it was launched at FIT Show 2025, the Bi-Fold Vent has proved a popular product with bi-fold door manufacturers across the UK.

The vent has also been recognised by industry awarding bodies with In October last year it was nominated for “New Product of the Year” at the National Fenestration Awards (NFAs) and just last month it was shortlisted for “Best Technical Innovation” category in The GGP Installer Awards which takes place 19 March 2026 in Manchester.

So why is the Bi-Fold Vent proving to be popular with fabricators? It seems it is all in the design which is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. In addition the product also helps compliance with building regulations.

Specifically manufactured for aluminium bi-fold doors, its shallow height is designed to work within the low hinge stack heights when the doors in a bi-fold system are in the open position. It has unique low-profile louvred canopy design combined with a low profile vent to allow both the internal vent and louvered grille clip in to easily sit between the open concertinaed door leaves.

The Bi-Fold Vent helps regulatory compliance with an independently tested equivalent area, it sits in a 16mm rout and in many cases, can be located directly into the door leaf or frame, removing the need for expensive additional “knock on” or extended profiles. With an EQA of 2700 a 3-panel door meets the background ventilation requirements for the room.

Moulded from high quality virgin ASA, Bi-Fold Vents are highly temperature and colour stable when compared to UPVC.  Initially available in white, black and anthracite grey, bespoke and matching  colours can also be manufactured (depending on demand).

Glazpart is pleased to announce the appointment of Wes Ball as Managing Director of the Glazpart Group.

With a formidable background in Senior Management roles across the Automotive manufacturing sector, Wes brings proven leadership skills, strategic vision and fresh business acumen to the Glazpart Group.

On his appointment Wes commented:

“I’m delighted to be stepping into the role of Managing Director at Glazpart. While our industry is new to me, within my first month it’s already proving fascinating.

I’ve been hugely impressed by the commitment and expertise of our people and their constant drive to achieve high levels of customer service; this is reflected in the strength of our long-standing customer and supplier relationships.

Last month Glazpart announced a new event called “Talking Shop with Glazpartners” which will take place alongside the PIGs (People in Glazing Society) events across the UK in 2026.

The five sessions are scheduled throughout the year before each PiGs event and will be held in the same venues. Each Talking Shop will have technical experts from Glazpartners, available for informal discussions on industry and technical issues.

Glazpart is pleased to confirm the appointment of Tamás Bareith as Finance Director, taking responsibility for the senior financial management of the Glazpart Group.

Tamás has operated as Glazpart’s Company Accountant since 2023, playing a pivotal part during a period of financial growth and significant investment in manufacturing resources.

On his appointment, Tamás commented “I am delighted to be appointed Finance Director and I look forward to continuing working with the senior management team and growing the Glazpart Group further.”

Following Tamás’ appointment, Glazpart has appointed Karen Hart as Financial Manager.
