PRECISION PRINTING AND MARKING
Technical Laser Marking Services
At Glazpart, we provide high-precision laser marking services using advanced fiber laser technology designed for accuracy, repeatability, and permanent results. Our laser marking capability supports industrial identification, scales, and branding requirements across a wide range of components and materials.
Our laser marking services are powered by a VLase IR 10 infrared solid state laser, delivering consistent performance and fine marking resolution:
- Wavelength: 1064 nm
- Output Power: 10 W
- Marking Field: 100 mm × 100 mm
- Marking Process: Non-contact laser marking
The 1064 nm wavelength is particularly suited to marking engineering plastics, producing high-contrast, permanent marks without mechanical stress or consumables.
Glazpart’s system includes an rotary unit, enabling accurate laser marking on cylindrical components. This capability allows full 360-degree marking and is ideal for:
- Tubes, pipes, and shafts
- Rings, collars, and cylindrical housings
- Circumferential text, scales, and serial numbers
The rotary axis ensures consistent alignment and uniform marking quality around the entire component.
Our laser marking service supports a wide range of industrial applications, including:
- Data Matrix and QR codes
- Logos, alphanumeric text, and vector graphics
- Product identification and traceability marks
All markings are permanent, wear-resistant, and suitable for demanding environments.
The VLase IR 10 laser is suitable for marking a broad range of materials, including:
- PA6
- PA66
- ABS
- PP
- PES
- PET
- PVC
- Additional engineering plastics and colours (subject to material validation or required additives)
With a defined 100 mm × 100 mm marking field, Glazpart ensures accurate positioning, repeatability, and consistent quality. Our laser marking service is suitable for prototype development, low- to medium-volume production, and specialist marking requirements.
We design and manufacture jigs and fixtures across a wide tolerance range, from additively manufactured solutions to high-precision wire-eroded tooling.
Used for prototyping, low-volume production, and applications with wider tolerances. Additive manufacturing enables rapid lead times, low cost, and design flexibility for assembly, machining support, and inspection fixtures where high structural loads or micron-level accuracy are not required.
For applications requiring tight tolerances, high repeatability, and long-term dimensional stability, fixtures are manufactured using wire EDM. This process allows complex geometries to be produced in hardened materials with excellent positional accuracy, making it suitable for precision machining, gauging, and inspection.
We match fixture design and manufacturing method to functional requirements, ensuring optimal accuracy, durability, and cost efficiency.
Digital Printing Services
At Glazpart, we provide high-resolution digital printing services using advanced UV inkjet technology, delivering precise, durable, and repeatable results. Our digital printing capability supports product identification, branding, functional graphics, and colour marking across a wide range of components and materials.
High Accuracy and Print Quality
To meet Glazpart’s and our customers stringent quality and dimensional requirements, digital printing was brought in-house following extensive evaluation of subcontract suppliers. External providers were unable to consistently achieve the positional accuracy, print definition, and repeatability required for precision-engineered components.
By investing in the Mimaki UJF-6042, Glazpart maintains full control over the printing process, ensuring tight positional tolerances, sharp edge definition, and consistent colour quality. This capability enables accurate alignment to moulded features, critical datums, and functional surfaces, delivering reliable results across both prototype and production volumes.
Our digital printing services are powered by a Mimaki UJF-6042 flatbed UV inkjet printer, offering exceptional print quality and versatility:
- Printing Technology: UV LED inkjet
- Maximum Print Area: 610 mm × 420 mm
- Maximum Media Thickness: Up to 153 mm
- Resolution: Up to 1200 × 1200 dpi
- Ink Type: UV-curable inks
UV curing enables instant ink hardening, producing durable prints with excellent adhesion and scratch resistance on both flat and irregular components.
Our digital printing service supports a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, including:
- Logos, text, and full-colour graphics
- Product identification and branding
- Functional markings, symbols, and indicators
- Multi-layer printing, including white for enhanced contrast and tactile effects
Prints are suitable for demanding environments and can be applied directly to components without the need for labels or decals.
The Mimaki UJF-6042 is suitable for printing on a broad range of materials, including:
- Engineering plastics
- Acrylics and polycarbonates
- Metals (with suitable surface preparation)
- Coated and treated substrates
Material compatibility is subject to validation and adhesion testing to ensure long-term durability.
With a rigid flatbed platform and high-resolution print capability, Glazpart ensures accurate positioning, colour consistency, and repeatable quality. Our digital printing service is suitable for prototype development, low- to medium-volume production, and specialist or bespoke printing requirements.
To ensure print accuracy and quality compliance, Glazpart verifies positional accuracy using a Keyence Image Dimension Measurement System IM-7020.
This non-contact optical measurement system allows rapid and repeatable inspection of printed features against defined reference points, confirming alignment, location, and consistency. By integrating dimensional verification into the process, Glazpart ensures that all printed markings meet specified positional tolerances and quality standards before release.

PAD Printing Services
At Glazpart, we provide high-quality Pad Printing using a variety of Inks and Pad systems.
Pad printing is a versatile and repeatable method for transferring detailed images onto products with flat, curved, textured, or irregular surfaces. Using a silicone pad, the process lifts ink from an etched plate and presses it onto the part, delivering crisp, consistent graphics—even on complex geometries.
Ideal for items such as promotional products, electronics, medical devices, and industrial components, pad printing offers excellent accuracy, repeatability, and high-quality results across a wide range of materials.
We can offer a selection of printing methods on our machines, ranging from Rotary, Multi-colour, and standard Pad printing.
Artwork Plate sizes available are as follows:
- 100mm x 100mm
- 292mm x 110mm
- 350mm x 100mm
Plates can be sourced in steel or nylon. We can produce all our own Nylon plates and the Artwork in house, ideal for promotional or one-off orders.
With the aforementioned plate sizes, Glazpart ensures accurate positioning, repeatability, and consistent quality. Our pad printing service is suitable for low- to medium-volume production and specialist printing requirements.
