Leading glazing component manufacturer Glazpart is delighted to announce that the Plastics Industry Awards (PIA) 2023 has shortlisted Glazpart’s product the Link Vent 4000 as a finalist for the award of “New Product of the Year”.

On receiving the news, Dean Bradley, Glazpart Sales Director, commented, “All at Glazpart are thrilled with the news of this nomination which recognises and rewards the best of the entire plastics industry. Last year Glazpart’s innovative Link Vent product won the National Fenestration Award (NFA) for Window Component of the Year and this year the latest addition to Link Vent range, the Link Vent 4000 is fast becoming one of the most popular ventilation solutions for glazing companies with notable increases in both sales and production volumes each passing month.

The Link Vent 4000 was launched in June 2022, in time for the changes to the Building Regulations (Approved Document F – means of ventilation). The result has seen a simple and effective solution for compliance for rooms and windows of all sizes, with the required background ventilation being produced via Link Vents in replacement windows and doors. Glazpart’s Link Vent 4000 enables the fenestration market to easily comply with the new regulations without having to compromise on the visual appearance of windows and doors and potential resistance from homeowners.

The Link Vent with its smart design, flexibility and vast range of colours and finishes has been well received across the supply chain and by homeowners. The development and promotion of the product demonstrates the commitment and innovation of Glazpart to deliver high quality product solutions for the fenestration industry.

The winners will be announced at the Plastics Industry Awards on Friday 17 November 2023 at the London InterContinental Park Lane.
