Christmas shutdown – extension December 2020

Dear Customer,

As we are all aware, we are operating under exceptional circumstances with the Covid-19 pandemic impacting every business. At Glazpart we have implemented wide ranging health and safety protocols and procedures, in line with prevailing government guidelines, to protect our staff and visitors.

The current effect of the pandemic has led to many of our customers to decide to extend their Christmas shut down periods and, as a result, they are closing from Monday 21st December.

Due to the significantly lower activity levels being experienced and to further safeguard the health and safety of the team at Glazpart in the run up to Christmas, we have taken the difficult decision to extend our 2020 Christmas factory shut down and we will also be closing from Monday 21st December.

We will reopen on Monday the 4th of January 2021. For any queries regarding current deliveries and to ensure queries can be managed efficiently please email sales@glazpart.co.uk where the team will update you.

We hope that you will understand our decision and we can assure you that when we return in the New Year, we will continue to deliver the highest levels of quality and customer service that our customers have come to expect from Glazpart.

We wish all our customer a happy and prosperous new year and hope that everyone stays safe.

    Following the Government announcement of the latest lockdown we just wanted to reassure customer that we are open for business as usual, and we will be despatching orders as planned. If you have an order outstanding with us but circumstances have changed and you need to change the delivery address please get in touch.

    This follows a site visit from the HSE this morning to spot check our covid safe working measures and procedures which were declared as compliant and were happy for us to continue to operate.

    Glazpart Ltd takes the safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and suppliers seriously. Due to the pandemic we carried out extensive risk assessments on our sites some months ago and have instigated a number of measures to ensure everyone’s safety.

      Glazpart Ltd takes the safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and suppliers seriously. Due to the pandemic we carried out an extensive risk assessments on our sites some months ago and have instigated a number of measures to ensure everyone’s safety, these include…

      • Installing hand sanitiser stations throughout our premises

      • Installing protective screens throughout our office and relevant production areas

      • Checking the temperature visitors when entering the site

      • Introducing signage across the site encouraging social distancing and recommending best government practice

      • Maintaining all doors in an open position to reduce contamination

      • All staff in addition can wear a mask whilst on site at their own discretion.

      • We’re also registered as a location on the NHS Track and Trace system and we are displaying the QR code across the site

      We have great solutions to protect our staff and visitors all inline with Government guidance.
