Bridge Packers
The bridge packer, in essence does just that. Prevalent in U-PVC systems the bridge packer provides a flat surface for the use of setting blocks. Whilst maintaining the water escape and ventilation routes around the insulated glazed units. A minimum of two per fixed light, positioned not to interfere with drainage rebates. Additional packers are generally required for window sizes over 1500mm. Certain UPVC profiles have specific bridge packers designed for the system and you should refer to the manufacturer for guidance.

Bridge Wedge Packers
This variation of a bridge packer acts as a standard bridge packer. However, it is designed to work with a wedge packer to install the insulated glazed unit tight, especially when toeing and heeling.

Slot Lock Bridge Packers
The design of these bridge packers which works as a standard bridge packer allows for a silicone free installation of the bridge packer. The designs locate the bridge packer and compressive forces are generated in the design to “lock” the bridge packer in the slot.
